Vail Valley: Meeting on Dotsero’s future is Oct. 1
Vail, CO Colorado
EAGLE COUNTY, Colorado – The second in a series of meetings about growth policies for the Dotsero area will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Oct. 1, in the Gypsum Town Council Chambers, located at 50 Lundgren Blvd. in Gypsum. Members of the public are encouraged to attend.
Cliff Simonton, senior planner for Eagle County, says results from a recently completed community survey will be shared.
“It’s no surprise that input received so far indicates recreational opportunities and the proximity to the river environment are highly valued in Dotsero,” Simonton said. “To develop a community plan that honors those values, we need continued participation from those with an interest in the area’s future.”
During the meeting, participants also will be asked to study maps and submit ideas for future land uses in the area.
At least one additional community meeting will be held in December. A working draft of the document is anticipated to be available for review in early 2010. For more information, contact Simonton at 970-328-8751 or at email@example.com.
