Vail Valley: Menorah to be sculpted, lit Sunday

Vail Daily staff report
Vail, CO Colorado

VAIL VALLEY, Colorado – A Chanukah menorah will be sculpted and lit at Riverwalk in Edwards in Colorado’s Vail Valley at 5 p.m., Sunday. The lighting, which is open to the public, is followed by a Chanukah dinner party and celebration.

A second ice menorah will be lit on Dec. 17 in Lionshead Village at the Arrabelle stairway.

“In ancient times our ancestors rededicated the Temple in Jerusalem with the menorah,” said Rabbi Dovid Mintz, director of Chabad Jewish Center. “Today, we rededicate ourselves to making this world a better and brighter place.”
