Vail Valley paramedics conduct booster-seat blitz
Vail, CO Colorado
VAIL, Colorado ” As part of Emergency Medical Services Week, Eagle County Ambulance District personnel will be conducting the Booster Seat Blitz at Vail Valley, Colorado elementary schools.
The goal is to reach all kindergartners in the district to encourage them to use a booster seat when riding in a car. Paramedics today, Tuesday and Wednesday will visit schools to show a DVD on booster seats and why kindergartners still need to be properly restrained when riding in a vehicle.
Paramedics will go through an activity book with the kids, and take them outside to vehicles to demonstrate the proper way to sit in a booster seat. They plan to visit June Creek and Edwards elementary schools, the Eagle County Charter School and Avon and Red Sandstone elementary schools.
