Vail Valley Partnership has golf tourney, other events planned
Heres a look at some of whats going on with the Vail Valley Partnership: In recognition of Earth Day, member businesses that join the Vail Valley Partnerships environmental sustainability program by May 1 can get a waiver on the $150 sign-up fee.The program, called Destination Preservation, is an effort to encourage businesses in the Vail Valley to conserve and protect the environment, increase awareness of best practices and help businesses save money. The 2008 winner of the award was the Antlers at Vail.Current participants include the Sonnenalp Resort of Vail, Vail Cascade Resort and The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa. The Vail Valley Partnership has a golf outing scheduled for May 28.The inaugural Shotgun in the Sun, Vail Valley Partnership Member Golf Scramble will be held at the Sonnenalp Golf Club at Singletree.
