Vail Valley Partnership members eligible for discount car washes

Daily Staff Report
Vail, CO, Colorado

The Vail Valley Partnership and East West Partners have announced a new benefit for members – discount car washes.

Partnership members can receive a 50 percent discount at the Shell station car wash located on the Edwards Access Road. Members will be entitled to purchase prepaid car wash cards for $100 each and receive $200 worth of car washes. The cards work on both the “self” wash and the fully-automated system.

“We are constantly looking to return value to our members through a variety of programs. This is an outstanding station in an A+ location and we’re pleased that East West Partners and the Partnership were able to work together to provide this benefit,” Vail Valley Partnership President Michael Kurz said.

“We are very pleased to support the VVP and its members,” Harry Frampton, representing the ownership of Edwards Station, said. “The Partnership does an outstanding job of supporting its stakeholders and tourism in the Vail Valley and we want to do all that we can to support the organization.”

To get car wash cards, members can go on line to, download the online voucher, print it, complete the requested information and bring it to the Vail Valley Partnership offices in Traer Creek Plaza for validation. Depending on the level of their membership, members may purchase one, two or four discount cards per year. Car wash fees are then automatically deducted via the magnetic strip on the card.
