The Vail Valley Partnership will host an educational program Oct. 20 for Vail Valley businesses to help explore what the recent health care reform means to businesses now and, potentially, in the future. This presentation will focus on health insurance and tax requirements. Neil-Garing Insurance will present the health insurance segment and Dalby Wendland & Co. will present the tax segment.”We’re thrilled to bring together two local businesses to help explain the impacts of recent legislation on the business community. The health care reform program is an opportunity for local businesses to not only learn from experts but to interact and ask questions on the impacts and potential impacts of the legislation” said Chris Romer, executive director of the Vail Valley Partnership. Most employers are overwhelmed by the scope of the legislation and the flood of information from a multitude of sources. The reform bill is a 2,700 page outline. The scope is daunting even before the anticipated 200,000-plus pages of regulatory language that will be needed to clarify it.The seminar will take place at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Oct. 20 from 3 – 5 p.m. and is free to Vail Valley Partnership members. RSVP’s are required. To RSVP or with any questions contact Jen Weintraub, Events & Membership Manager at 970-477-4001 or
