Vail, CO Colorado

VAIL VALLEY, Colorado –Actress Barbara Summerville will perform “Mary Grace” at Berry Creek Middle School in Edwards in Colorado’s Vail Valley on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The cost is $20 and includes refreshments before the show, local student artwork and music before the show, and a question-and-answer session with Summerville.

Proceeds will go towards after-school arts programs in which students will practice effective speaking, critical thinking and problem solving.

“I am really amazed at the response we receive from students who need that creative option of expressing themselves through the arts,” said Shanti Flaherty, the Gifted and Talented Coordinator for Eagle County Schools. “We hope to provide a stage where students can express their passion and artistic ability with others to help infuse arts into their 21st century learning skills.”

The shows are from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Sunday’s show is from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tickets available before the show by contacting Shanti Flaherty at shanti.flaherty@eagleschools.net or 970-328-7921; or tickets may be purchased at the door.
