Daily Staff ReportNewsroom@vaildaily.comVail, CO, Colorado

The Ritz-Carlton Club & Residences at Vail has earned international recognition for its quality-control measures. This month, Graham Frank of Vair Resorts Development Company and Erik Peterson with OAC Management will fly to Orlando, Fla., to join with three executives from Old Republic Construction Program Group to present the project’s story to the International Risk Management Institute at its annual conference. Richard Livermore, executive vice president for Old Republic Construction Program Group, said: “I was approached by our president a few months ago to submit a presentation topic to the (conference). I knew immediately what I was going to present on: Our success with Vail Resorts and OAC Management on implementing a quality program for The Ritz-Carlton Club & Residences at Vail. After five years and 11 projects we felt this was the quality construction story we wanted to share with our industry. Of all the vendors we’ve partnered with, OAC Management’s Quality Assurance Observation Program produced the best results. We’re honored to have been chosen to present and are excited about the opportunity.” Frank, director of development for Vail Resorts Development Company, said: “This is a very exciting opportunity for us to present to such an exclusive international audience. We knew we were doing the right thing when we decided to hire OAC Management to help us achieve our ‘QAO Certified’ designation, and have come to realize that we are in the front seat of pioneering a new level of designation that in all reality will become as identifiable as a LEED certification.”Peterson, president of OAC Management, said: “This is a great opportunity to share the vision and purpose of our company with the Insurance, real estate development and construction sector – that is to infuse a culture of excellence into each one of our projects that will transform individuals and products into lasting models that will ultimately revolutionize our industry’.”For more information, go to http://www.oacminc.com.
