Vail Valley: Prudential breaks ground on new Gypsum office
Vail, CO, Colorado
Prudential Colorado Properties recently started construction of a new office building in Gypsum, directly across the street from the company’s current office. The new offices are on U.S. Highway 6 and should be completed by November.
“This is truly a reflection on our market strength and the incredibly dedicated team we have here in Gypsum,” said Michael Slevin, Vice President. “In a challenging market it may seem counterintuitive to be building a new office, but we feel this is the perfect time to reinvest in our company and the town of Gypsum to better serve western Eagle County.”
Laurie Slaughter, the manager broker for Prudential’s offices in Eagle and Gypsum, said, “We have a great team here. We all live here, love Eagle and Gypsum and enjoy our community”
Prudential Colorado Properties is independently owned and operated. It became an affiliate of Prudential Real Estate in 1993. Prudential Colorado Properties was founded in 1971 and has seven offices and 100 brokers throughout the Vail Valley.
Company officials say every aspect of Vail management is now focused on attaining the company’s goal of achieving a zero net operating footprint by 2030. Vail Resorts calls the plan their “Commitment to Zero,” and defines it a zero net carbon emissions by 2030, zero waste to landfills, and zero operating impact on forests and natural habitat.
