Vail Daily staff report
Vail, CO Colorado

VAIL VALLEY, COlorado –Colorado Department of Transportation crews are restriping state highway roundabouts in its northwest Colorado. The striping will be done at night, to lessen the travel impacts.

The project began in the Rifle roundabout on Monday and moves to roundabouts in Avon at Interstate 70 and U.S. Highway 6 and then to the Vail/Gypsum area and then back to Glenwood Springs, Aspen and in Mesa County. The project is expected to wrap up in mid- to late-July.

A new type of high-durability paint will increase stripe longevity and nighttime visibility
