Special to the Daily |

Larkspur Restaurant provided the perfect setting for Ski & Snowboard Club Vail’s Leadership Council Dinner and Live Auction on Nov 22. Annual campaign supporters at the $1,500 or above level along with Ski & Snowboard Club Vail staff gathered to celebrate the start of the season. Ski & Snowboard Club Vail alumni guest speakers David Viele (who is also a Ski & Snowboard Club Vail trustee) and Jesse Maddex shared with the crowd all that Ski & Snowboard Club Vail has done in their lives through the vehicle of competitive snowsports long after their athlete days at Ski & Snowboard Club Vail were over.

Three young, current Ski & Snowboard Club Vail athletes shared on stage with Aldo Radamus, executive director, about their aspirations and what they are most thankful for at Ski & Snowboard Club Vail, which was a highlight of the evening.

A festive and philanthropic spirit filled the air as guests generously supported the live auction and raised additional support for the Ski & Snowboard Club Vail scholarship fund.

Ski & Snowboard Club Vail is grateful for the support of its current and past families and community members along with its generous sponsors and auction donors for all they make possible in building character, courage and commitment in the youth of the Vail Valley and for an inspiring Leadership Council Dinner and Live Auction.
