Vail Valley: Slifer Designs earns awards
Vail, CO, Colorado
Slifer Designs, a Vail Valley-based design company, recently earned six awards from the American Resort Developer Association.
Two of the awards are gold medals, the top honor the association gives. The remaining four awards are silver medals, meaning Slifer Designs was in the group of finalists for top honors.
One gold medal honored Slifer Designs’ work for the common area at the Arrabelle at Vail Square. The Player Design Group office headquarters in Traveler’s Rest, South Carolina was also recognized as a gold medal winner.
The Silver awards were given to the Vail Mountain Club, Centre V restaurant, and the hotel, lobby and great room at the Arrabelle.
The American Resort Developer Association is a national organization representing the vacation ownership and resort development industries, and competition for the awards is tight in all categories, Slifer Designs President Yvonne Jacobs said.
Participate in The Longevity Project
The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.
“It is such an honor to receive this recognition from our peers,” Jacobs said. “Equally exciting is that our gold awards are for projects that have a distinctly contemporary look and feel, which is not what some people expect from us.”
