Vail Valley: Slifer Designs team earn another award
Donna Figg and Sarah Carr, designers with Slifer Designs, a Vail Valley-based interior design company, received the 2009 first-place Interior Design Award for excellence in Hospitality Design Over Ten Thousand Square Feet by the Colorado chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers. The annual program recognizes students, designers and architects for excellence in interior design.The panel of judges from the societys St. Louis East chapter selected the winners from hundreds of applicants and chose Slifer Designs for its use of textures and light in the Arrabelle spa in Vail.We are thrilled to recognize leading designers in their success and for helping to raise professionalism in the interior-design industry, said Lynn Williamson, communications director for the societys Colorado chapter.
