Vail Valley, CO Colorado

VAIL VALLEY, Colorado ” When the Battle Mountain High School moves to its new campus in Edwards next fall, the old building in Eagle-Vail, Colorado could become a K-8 school that would combine Meadow Mountain Elementary with Minturn Middle, said councilwoman Kristi Ferraro, who sits on the Battle Mountain High School Facility Committee.

The purpose would be to be able to provide more programs to the students, since both schools are too small to add things like band, Spanish and art, she said. The committee plans to send a list of priorities and plans to the Eagle County School District soon to see what’s feasible.
