Vail Valley’s free family fun fair returns June 13

VAIL VALLEY, Colorado ” The Vail Valley’s fourth annual Free Family Fun Fair, designed for kids ages to 2 to 12 and their families, returns to Edwards’ Freedom Park on June 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The fair will be full of free activities, including a bungee trampoline, several bouncy castles, an obstacle course, a train and a climbing wall.
There also will be face painting, arts and crafts, a bike rodeo, and local police and fire vehicles. There will be a child-seat safety check in the nearby parking lot of Colorado Mountain College.
“Local families look forward to this event every year as it is a great way to spend the day, all activities are free,” said fair organizer Holli Snyder.
Golf balls will be dropped from a helicopter to raise money for the Youth Foundation, which organizes kids’ educational and recreational programs throughout the Vail Valley. The balls will be aimed at over-sized golf holes that represent different prizes.
Golf balls can be bought by calling the Youth Foundation at 970-763-7000 or bought the day of the fair.
Parking is in at Colorado Mountain College and Berry Creek Middle School. There will be shuttles to the fair.
This event is sponsored by Bighorn Toyota, CenturyTel, Big O tires, Eagle County, ECO Transit, First Bank, the Beaver Creek Resort Company, East West Resorts, the Sonnenalp Golf Course, Sonnenalp Resort and the Wildflower Farm.
