Vail Village parking structure maintenance rescheduled

VAIL, Colorado ” Due to the wet weather, maintenance work in the Vail Village parking structure, originally scheduled to begin May 4, has been rescheduled to Monday.
Vail Public Works crews will begin washing and striping the structure at 6 a.m. The process is expected to take about five days. During the maintenance, parking may be limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Overflow parking will be directed to Ford Park, the soccer field and the Lionshead parking structure.
-Once the maintenance work in the Village structure is complete, crews will move to the Lionshead structure, where the washing and striping will be repeated.-
Snow usually comes and goes in this part of the state. A forecasted storm is expected to stick around for a while. Forecasters are calling for snow to persist throughout the weekend in the high country, with a prospect of a couple of feet of powder by the time the storm starts to diminish on Monday.
