Vail Vitality Center hosts ‘Ignited Vinyasa’ yoga workshop
VAIL – The Yoga Studio at Vail Vitality Center at Vail Mountain Lodge & Spa welcomes Gina Caputo for an “Ignited Vinyasa” workshop, celebrating the seasonal shift from winter to spring, on Sunday from 9 to 11 a.m. This class offers participants an opportunity to stoke the inner fire, allowing for a surge of clarity and a bold step forward into the new season.”I had the opportunity to practice yoga with Gina for the first time last month, and promptly begged her to come to Vail,” said Julia Clarke, yoga coordinator at Vail Vitality Center. “Gina’s spark, expert teaching and wicked sense of humor are a perfect fit for yoga lovers in the Vail Valley.”The workshop is best suited to injury-free yogis of all shapes and sizes. Cost is $20 in advance or $25 the day of the workshop. Rates apply to Vail Vitality Center members and non-members. Caputo’s passionate and inspirational style of teaching is a balanced fusion of informed Vinyasa flow yoga with attention to holistic alignment, personal evolution and humor. She originally came to the mat from the office chair and has a keen ability to speak to the modern-day householder yogi. She is an engaging, empathetic teacher known for her clear and playful style of encouraging students to fearlessly travel to their own personal edge, open the heart and boldly dive in. Caputo is the former owner of Exhale Spa in Venice, Calif., and owns Kansas Siddhi Yoga in Kansas City, MO.
