Are you ready to step into the next version of you, no matter your age? Argie Ligeros believes you are. Ligeros invites you to join her and a team of experts and instructors that she has assembled at The Labyrinth Summit, a four-day immersive wellness event for women that isn’t just a retreat but a regeneration designed for those who are ready to reimagine their next chapter.
At 71, Ligeros is still a trailblazer in yoga and wellness. Many longtime locals will recall that Ligeros started Power Yoga, Yoga Sculpt and the Yoga for Athletes Fitness System. She has taught over 15,000 classes worldwide, developed programs for Olympic athletes, Fortune 500 companies, luxury spas and pediatric oncology at the University of California, Los Angeles. She is the founder of RG Life – Soul Fitness for the Ages, where she mentors women of all ages on her social media and online channels. She’s hosting The Labyrinth Summit to blend those worlds.
“The seed to do The Labyrinth Summit was planted about two years ago. I was living in Los Angeles and attending all of these very difficult hot Pilates and hot yoga classes and there were all these gorgeous young women in the classes that were much, much younger than myself,” Ligeros said. “After class, inevitably, one of them would come up and say, ‘Excuse me, do you mind if I ask how old you are?’ And I’d say, ‘Sure, that’s fine. I’m 71.’ And then they’d say, ‘How come you can still do everything?’ and I would answer, ‘Because I never stopped.'”
Ligeros took those inquiries from those young women and realized that there was a message she wanted to get out.
“I think these young women had an idea of what fitness was. I think these young women would see their mothers and sort of compare their mothers’ physical fitness level and mine. And, I mean, I’m not bragging, but I’m just telling you, when you work out your whole life, you stay fit,” Ligeros said.

Ligeros also feels that there is so much that can be shared across generations.
“I wanted to create a community and a platform for communication across generations of women to inspire one another, to give advice, share wisdom and perspective. I think we can all learn from one another, no matter what stage or age we are at in life,” Ligeros said.

Ligeros has been practicing yoga for 50 years and that will be a big part of The Labyrinth Summit at the Grand Hyatt Vail. But she’s also amassed an amazing and accomplished network of experts who will also be a part of the multi-day program, which takes place Oct. 1-5. Guest instructors and speakers will guide attendees through movement work with yoga and Pilates, mindfulness practices, functional and integrative medicine, hormones, metaphysical artistry, sound bathing, forest bathing, journaling and finding your voice to express yourself more fully.
“I want this to be a transformational experience where you leave with new friends and that everyone is excited to stay in touch after the retreat and that this leads to other gatherings and connection,” Ligeros said.
