Vail’s ‘Art With A Heart’ to help cancer patients

VAIL, Colorado – Vail Village Arts’ one-time “Art With a Heart” fundraising effort on will raise money for Jack’s Place in Edwards with a donated work from regional artist Rolinda Stotts
Patients can stay at Jack’s Place while being treated at the Shaw Regional Cancer Center next door. All of the proceeds from the sale of Stotts’ one-of-a-kind “Distant Color,” will be donated to Jack’s Place. The painting will be sold by silent auction, with bids accepted in-person or over the Internet until midnight on Jan. 6.
Stotts is known for her “bella rotta” – or “beautiful broken” – technique. She blends contemporary styling with innovative media aging.
Vail Village Arts will be hosting Stotts’ one-woman show from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Dec. 29. “Distant Color” will be on display along with over 20 other pieces.
