Vail’s ‘Energy + Environment’ summit postponed until summer

Vail Daily staff report
Vail, CO Colorado

VAIL, Colorado – The Vail Symposium’s conference, “Energy + Environment: Turning Goals Into Reality,” originally scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, has been rescheduled for summer 2010.

The Symposium will host a summer long series of discussions, rather than a two-day conference, with leaders in energy and environment innovation and policy. This change will enable the Symposium to host the same topics, but with timing that is more relevant to both local and national events, while also making the programs more affordable, organizers say.

The following programs are in the process of being scheduled and dates will be announced soon:

– Adventures in Climate Change with Mark Sereeze and Michael Brown. During the Teva Mountain Games.

– Visionary Ideas on Energy + Environment with Amory Lovins and Auden Schendler

– Future of Oil and Natural Resources with David Fleishacker and Vince Matthews

– Energy Innovations in Colorado with Tom Plant and Governor Ritter
