VAIL, Colorado – The 10th anniversary of the Teva Mountain Games in Vail, June 2-5, will host the Rocky Dog Trail Run – an on-leash one mile or 5-kilometer trail race held on Vail Mountain for dogs and their owners.

“The Eukanuba Rocky Dog Trail Run combines two of the most popular elements of the Teva Mountain Games: dogs and running,” said Mike Imhof, vice president of sales and operations for the Vail Valley Foundation, organizers of the annual event.

The Rocky Dog Trail Run is scheduled for Sunday, June 5 at 11:30 a.m. The race begins at the base of Golden Peak where competitors funnel onto a singletrack trail that winds around Vail Mountain. All dogs must be leashed for the duration of the run/walk.
