Vanessa Schwartzel joins Fuller Sotheby’s Edwards office
DENVER — Fuller Sotheby’s International Realty has announced that Vanessa Schwartzel has joined the new office in Edwards.
“Vanessa brings a high level of energy and knowledge to our office and will be a welcome addition to our Edwards location,” said Dan Fitchett, managing broker for the Fuller Sotheby’s International Realty Beaver Creek and Edwards office.
Schwartzel has a background in international real estate. Her expertise includes residential homes, resort properties and vacation homes. She is dedicated to the luxury segment, selling ski, golf and mountain resort communities in the Vail Valley. Schwartzel is also a member of the Institute For Luxury Home Marketing, where she gained strong negotiation and market research skills.
Before moving to Vail in 2010, Schwartzel and her husband lived on the Hawaiian island of Kauai for five years, where she assisted both local and international clients with second home and resort property real estate needs.
Originally from Great Britain, Schwartzel graduated from the University of Portsmouth (U.K.) with a post-graduate degree in human resource management. She has worked in human resources for companies in London, San Francisco and Hawaii. She is also a veteran, having served 10 years in the Women’s Royal Navy as one of the first female physical trainers competing and coaching internationally.
“Paving the way for women in the Royal Navy Physical Training Branch was an experience of a lifetime,” she said. “It taught me the true meaning of teamwork, discipline and maintaining a positive attitude — all of which have led to success in my career.”

Company officials say every aspect of Vail management is now focused on attaining the company’s goal of achieving a zero net operating footprint by 2030. Vail Resorts calls the plan their “Commitment to Zero,” and defines it a zero net carbon emissions by 2030, zero waste to landfills, and zero operating impact on forests and natural habitat.
