EAGLE – Get ready to experience blues guitar as it was meant to be, when journeyman blues and rock guitarist Randall Dubris and his band take the stage in the Bowlmor Caf & Lounge in Eagle Saturday at 8 p.m.Dubris has worked with many greatest blues musicians of our time. He spent more than two years touring fulltime with the great blues lap steel guitar legend Sonny Rhodes, traveling across the U.S., Canada and Europe. That tour included 21 blues festival appearances, 19 of which Sonny topped the bill.Additionally, Dubris performed with the late Chicago bluesman Son Seals at club dates and festival appearances. Mentored by both Rhodes and Seals, it is clear Randall has absorbed the best of their styles and honored their influences in his performance skills.His career continues to grow by leaps and bounds with the release of his third CD, Bitter Sweet, followed by a Canadian promotional tour. Randall is based out of Colorado where he and his band are mainstays on Denver’s thriving blues scene. He also appears at many of the regions music and blues festivals. This is his first appearance at the Back Bowl and this show is part of The Back Bowl’s ongoing Jammin’ at the Bowlmor music series that brings the best in local and regional acts to Eagle.
