Vilar Center kick off party at Bonfire Brewing in Eagle Saturday

The Vilar Performing Arts Center kicks off its summer season this coming Tuesday with Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo and is celebrating the start to its season with a party at Bonfire Brewing in Eagle Saturday night.
As part of its partnership with the Vilar Performing Arts Center, Bonfire Brewing is opening its doors for Vilar Center fans to come hear live music by Kevin Heinz and Friends. Heinz is a Boulder native who grew up with many musical influences, raised by a father that played in the church band and a mother who taught first grade with an acoustic in hand. Heinz now resides in Vail, and brings with him a band that blends folk and rock to create a unique sound.
“What better way to usher in our new season and celebrate great music in the Vail Valley than free music in a casual atmosphere at Bonfire Brewing?” said Kris Sabel, executive director for the Vilar Performing Arts Center. “We look forward to welcoming our old friends and those new to the VPAC as well. It should be a fun evening.”
All attendees (age 21 and over) who check in at the Vilar Center welcome table on their way into Bonfire on Saturday will receive a free pint, snacks, and will be entered to win one of several prizes that will be given out throughout the duration of the party, which takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. Bonfire Brewing is located at 127 Second Street in Eagle.
Attendees can come learn more about the Vilar’s summer concert season at this Saturday’s kickoff party. Details and tickets are also available online at http://www.vilarpac.org, by phone at 970-845-TIXS or in person at the VPAC Box Office in Beaver Creek.
