Vitality Center in Vail hosts spring renewal workshop
VAIL, Colorado – Spring is a time of renewal and Vail Vitality Center at Vail Mountain Lodge is embracing the context of the season with a workshop designed to encourage vitality, strength and awareness. The “Renew to be You” workshop, led by renowned instructor Onkar Kaur, features Kundalini yoga, meditation and gong relaxation and takes place on May 25 at The Yoga Studio at Vail Vitality Center. In this workshop, practitioners renew through deep pranayam – expansive breathing exercises to encourage an understanding of what creates flow from a place of vitality and strength. The vibration of the gong sets a healing space of expansion and creates a base for renewed beginnings.”When we are well rested and calm we have a strong knowledge of what is really important in our lives and what is not,” said Kaur. “We also have clarity to make decisions that will really fulfill our birthright of true happiness in life, and it is easier for us to embrace all life has to offer from a heart-centered place.”Kaur has been practicing Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, since the summer of 2006. She has studied with master teachers, including Gurmukh and Gurushabd Khalsa, Tej Kaur and Harijiwan from Golden Bridge Los Angeles. Her dedicated and disciplined practice evolved into teaching in 2008 and she later received her Level One certification from Kundalini Research Institute in 2009.Cost for the one-day Renew to be You workshop is $15 in advance, and $22 the day of the class.
