VMS hosting 27th annual garage sale Friday, Saturday
VAIL — Vail Mountain School’s annual garage sale is 9,000 square feet of stuff you want, or need, or didn’t know you wanted or needed until you spotted it.
The 27th annual VMS garage sale runs Friday and Saturday at the school, located in East Vail.
There’s furniture, thousands of clothing items, appliances, toys, electronics, tools, baby items, sporting goods, bikes, skis, artwork, housewares, linens … the list is long, sometimes veering toward the unique. There was a halter for a camel, a stained-glass somthing-or-another. Get there early for the more unique things, or you’ll have to live without a collection of … whatever that is.
Vail Mountain School families donate all sorts of items for the garage sale, along with community members and local stores Nest, Ritzy Recalls, Wishes Toy Store, Skipper & Scout, and Grey Salt.
Early bird shopping is Friday from 3:45-7 p.m. Adults will pay $5, children are free. Saturday admission is free. Fill a bag starts at noon Saturday for $20.
