Congratulations Foster Fox

Each year the Vail Junior Hockey Association (VJHA) Board of Directors selects a Bantam level hockey player to receive the David Olbright Scholarship Award. David Olbright was a Bantam hockey player who tragically died in an auto accident. The VJHA Board established this award in his honor. This year the VJHA Board of Directors selected Foster Fox as the Olbright recipient. The Olbright award is granted to the Bantam level player who most exemplifies teamwork, dedication and sportsmanship and most importantly how to have fun on the ice. This year the cash award is to be presented to the non-profit organization of Foster’s choice. Bob Isbell, Vail Christian High School assistant principal and athletic director, recently accepted the contribution on behalf of the Vail Christian High School. The Vail Christian High School recently joined a “sportsmanship” program sponsored by the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA). The CHSAA sportsmanship program is designed to positively change behavior in schools and reinforce the need for sportsmanship as one of the values taught through educational athletics.
