VVCTB to hold seminar on high performance sales on Thursday

VAIL – On Thursday, the Vail Valley Chamber and Tourism Bureau, the Hotel Sales and Marketing Association International and the Vail Daily host an educational seminar called “High Performance Sales and Communications.”The seminar is at the Lion Square Lodge, and there are two sessions, from 8-9:30 a.m. and 9:45-11 a.m. The cost is $20 for one session or $30 for both, and registration is limited to members of the Chamber and Tourism Bureau and the hotel association.Session one, titled “High Performance Selling,” will be presented by Don Hutson, who will discuss how to build a client base through high-performance selling and customer service.Hutson, past president of the National Speakers Association, has run more than 5,000 seminars around the world, written eight books and been in more than 100 corporate training films. Session two, titled “Communicating when Communication is Difficult and Demanding,” will be presented by Sue Hershkowitz-Coore, who will talk about how business people can diffuse negative environments, enhance their influence and be more persuasive.Hershkowitz-Coore is the author of the book “Power Sales Writing.” Tickets are now available.
