Walking in a winter wonderland

Beaver Creek’s new festival, Winterfest, wrapped up after two weeks of nonstop programming. Each day the festivities began with the Kids’ Winter Wonder Parade throughout the Beaver Creek Plaza led by such characters as the Ice Princess and Old Man Winter. Flaming-torch jugglers, whirly, twirly skaters, wandering penguins and a live ice-sculpting demonstration were part of the festivities, which culminated in “Beaver Creek’s Got Talent.”

Created and produced by Brian Hall of Blue Creek Productions, the festival was designed to inspire wintry wonder in both children and adults as they celebrated the holidays in Beaver Creek.
