Want to race in the TransRockies Run, Vail Valley?

VAIL VALLEY, Colorado – A Vail Valley information session for this year’s GORE-TEX TransRockies Run will be held at The Riverfront Club at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in Avon from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. This free session is open to those who want to learn more about the race and other endurance events. Three previous TransRockies competitors will tell their stories about the race. Also on-hand will be the race’s co-medical director, Bryan Diekman, of Vail’s Steadman Hawkins Clinic. He answer questions and discuss injury prevention and proper preparation for endurance events. The TransRockies Run is a six-day endurance foot race that starts in Buena Vista, Colo. on Aug. 22 and ends in Beaver Creek on Aug. 27.
