Warning: Your ability to see the controversial movie "Fahrenheit: 9/11" is at risk
Call your local movie theatre and see if they are planning to show the film or is their distributor is imposing a ban on it preventing you to decide whether it is a film you want to see? There is much political pressure to keep the film away from questioning voters because of the revelations about George W. Bush and his family’s connections with oil interests and Saudi Arabia.
No matter what your political position is you have the right to see any film and make your own decisions. Complain to the local theatre manager and you can even threaten a boycott of that theatre.
We have the right to see and hear controversial ideas and no one from Michael Eisner, CEO of Disney Co. has the right to limit that.
Pass this message on to your friends via e mail and ask them to contact their movie providers as well.
Only 868 theatres are currently showing this film, despite the fact that it won first prize as a documentary at the Cannes film Festival this year.
Beware…Your rights and freedom are at stake!
