Watching Vail Valley’s Snowshow Shuffle grow

As founders of the Snowshoe Shuffle, we want to congratulate the Vail Valley Medical Center on the great job it’s done in growing the event. It’s very rewarding to know that we were there at the beginning and to see how the “shuffle” has come to fruition.

When the Vail Breast Cancer Awareness Group began 15 years ago, we created three fundraisers: the Run for the Hills, the Celebration of Life Luncheon and the Snowshoe Shuffle, which the hospital continues to manage.

These days, our group still presents the luncheon, which this year will feature Elizabeth Edwards, and through the undying efforts of Justine Nadherny, we will continue to support Love for the Ladies, a snowboard rail jam that premiered this year.

Again, we are proud to have been a part of an event that has brought so much support to Eagle County, and we wish the hospital continued success.

Participate in The Longevity Project

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.
