Water-efficient gardening workshop in Vail Valley
VAIL VALLEY, Colorado Creating gardens and landscaping in Colorado’s Vail Valley that use less water will be the topic of a free workshop hosted by Eagle Countys Colorado State University Extension Office at 9 a.m., April 23 in the Eagle County Room of the county building.The speaker will be gardening expert Marcia Tatroe, author of Creating a Regional Landscape Aesthetic and Identity. Tatroe says she has been a Colorado gardener for more than 20 years and also writes a weekly gardening column in the Denver Post. She also has taught glasses at Denver Botanic Gardens.The workshop will focus on creating more environmentally friendly gardens and landscapes and is the finale to the extension offices Colorado Gardner Training series.
