West Vail Taco Bell closes
Vail, CO Colorado
VAIL, Colorado – The Taco Bell in West Vail is the latest restaurant casualty at the West Vail Mall, following in the footsteps of former neighbor Mi Zuppa, which also recently closed.
Bradley Kornfeld, chief operating officer and general counsel for Gart Properties, LLC, the owner of the West Vail Mall, confirmed that the fast food chain closed its doors for good.
“They have been a good addition to the shopping center, and we are sorry to see them leave prematurely,” Kornfeld said via email to the Vail Daily. “We are working hard to secure a replacement tenant that will be an asset to the center.”
He said Gart Properties won’t be ready to make an announcement on any new tenants until one is secured.
The Taco Bell franchise owner could not be reached for comment. Old Forge Pizza is slated to move into the old Mi Zuppa space.
