EAGLE — Every year when the Western Slope Home & Rec Expo comes to Eagle, representatives from K&H Home Solutions in Arvada make the trek up to the mountains.
“The show has always been really good to us,” said Johnny Freimark, of K&H. “It is a great community and the people are obviously a great target market for us.”
With K&H specializing in window, siding and roof replacement along with entry door and insulation installation, it’s easy to see why the company is attracted to the Eagle event. “Energy efficiency, that’s what we stand for,” said Freimark.
The company will be one of dozens of vendors at the event, which was moved from March to May this year. The Western Slope Home & Rec Expo is the largest home show on the Western Slope, and the event offers display information about home repair and maintenance, lifestyle products, green technologies, outdoor products and innovations.
The Expo features companies from around the region showcasing remodeling and repair products, renewable windows and energy technologies, decking, hot tubs, automobiles, furniture, storage sheds and more. Giveaways are planned every hour, including a $2,500 deck package from Detail Decking, $500 gift certificates from American Furniture Warehouse and concert tickets from Always Mountain Time.
The Expo is a family-friendly event with a free kids zone that offers activities and bounce houses. Arapahoe Cafe will sell food at the event.
EAGLE OUTSIDE FESTIVAL
Organizers urge expo goers to make a weekend adventure out of a visit to Eagle by hitting both their event and the Eagle Outside Festival. The town of Eagle’s storied open space trails network, located adjacent to Eagle Ranch, is the locale for bike races, clinics, demos and more. Take part in mountain bike races, a 5K run/walk, kids events and more.
