Westin in Avon hosts intro to Yamuna body rolling workshop Sept. 28
AVON — Learn how to stretch, tone and realign your entire body with the new Introduction to Yamuna Body Rolling Workshop on Sept. 28 at The Athletic Club at The Westin.
Yamuna can improve posture, relieve back, neck and shoulder pain and release tightness and tension that can restrict movement. The workshop will be taught by Jen Tracy Hooker, a certified yoga instructor and massage therapist who received a certification in Yamuna body rolling in 2004.
The cost is $40 for Athletic Club members and $50 for the general public. To register, call 970-790-2051.
The Athletic Club at The Westin is also offering a fall membership special — join in September and pay no initiation fee, a more than $100 value. Membership plans start at $120 per month for individuals or $180 per month for families.
The Athletic Club at The Westin offers more than 70 group exercise classes weekly, including pilates mat, zumba, pilates barre, Vinyasa flow yoga, computrainer, spinning, master swim, group reformer and kickboxing.
