Congratulations are in order to the Vail Valley Academy of Dance, Vail Friends of Dance, Vail Youth Ballet Company and community members on a fabulous run of The Nutcracker at the Vilar Performing Arts Center on Dec. 15-17. Thanks went out to the entire staff, students, volunteers, sponsors and patrons. The community is grateful for the cultural gift of dance and these amazing performers. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication.

Vail Mountain School class of 2019 off to chase the impossible

The graduates of Vail Mountain School’s class of 2019 will be off to far-flung destinations next fall, set to enter college in one of 16 different states or explore the world on a gap year. One grad is even attending college in Canada.
