EAGLE – The first round of the 2006 National Geographic Bee for middle school students will be held at Eagle Valley Middle School’s Media Center at 1 p.m., Jan. 10.For the 18th year, the National Geographic Society is holding the competition, for students in the fourth through eighth grades, in thousands of schools across the United States, in the five U.S. territories and in Department of Defense Schools around the world. The winner of the Eagle Valley Middle School bee will advance to the next level of competition – a written examination to determine state competitors.
