It’s the quintessential end of December question. Where are you celebrating on New Year’s Eve? And it’s OK if you’re not really sure yet. We’re here to help. Here’s the low down on celebrations taking place up and down Eagle Valley. Whether you’re 14 years old, or 64 years young, there’s a party with your name on it. EAGLE-VAIL Boulder band Little Friday will entertain the crowd at Route 6 Cafe in Eagle-Vail on New Year’s Eve. The group plays classic covers from the ’60s and ’70s to modern rock songs of the last two decades. The music starts at 9:30 p.m. The cover charge is $60 per person and includes two drinks and a champagne toast at midnight. DJ Logic will open the show. Yamn, a popular Denver-based quartet, will celebrate their return to Rocky Mountains in what’s destined to be a classic evening on Dec. 31 at the Vail Ale House, ringing in the New Year with a full two-set performance. The band includes Scotty Kabel, Joe Bianchi, Jeff Armistead and Cowboy Brian. All of these musicians are veterans of the valley music scene, having been part of bands such as Little Hercules, Bonfire Dub, the Turntable Review, and more. Kabel says the Min’urn Express will play “tasty music that spans the decades.” The band will be crank up the music in the bar starting about 9 p.m. The cover charge is $5.
