Where’s the mass transit?

Bill Black, Avon

I am curious as to what “mass transit” solutions Mr. Lamont is referring to regarding the frontage road parking problem. The only mass transit I am aware of from the Front Range is the Greyhound bus service. The only other “mass transit” option would be to drive past Vail and take an Eco-Transit shuttle, since the Town of Vail bus could not service many additional parking spots.

Additionally, Mr. Kosloff, president of the same association Mr. Lamont is affiliated with, complains that cars parked on the frontage roads make it hard for people to drive to lunch. Wouldn’t it be easier for people to hop on a town of Vail bus than to park in Edwards or Eagle and take the Eco-Transit shuttles to Vail?
