Free parking? I would like to know why the town of Vail can get people into town with the lure of free parking in both the Vail and Lionshead parking structures and yet charge $5 per car at the women’s lacrosse field?
Is it not those very people who came here and help to fill the restaurants and bars (who so badly need it in this economy) who are punished by the town of Vail for showing up to their events only to be charged $5 to park.
Shouldn’t at least the players, who all have wrist bands for identification, at least be able to park for free?
The gatekeeper threatened to give out tickets to those who didn’t have the cash on them! Maybe a bit greedy, and all the profit was to the town of Vail?
