Wild horses discussion

Join the Vail Public Library on Sept.18 at 5 p.m. for a book talk with Craig Downer, author of “The Wild Horse Conspiracy” and “Wild Horses: Living Symbols of Freedom,” in conjunction with an exhibition of wild horse photography by local artist Roxanne Granzow. Granzow’s exhibition “The Wild Mustangs of Sand Wash Basin” includes over 20 photographs that capture the wild horse in its natural environment. The exhibition will be on view in the library’s community room from Sept.15 through Oct.15. Downer and Granzow hope to make known the plight of America’s wild horses and their survival." Granzow will donate a portion of her sales to the Mountain Rescue Organization.
