Wild West Wine Tasting

For the third year in the row, the Wild Wine Tasting was a sellout as the “prequel” to Wild West Days, the rowdy fundraiser for Eagle County elementary schools.

Once again, Balata at the Sonnenalp in Singletree hosted the event, held on Thursday, Sept. 25. Tony Mauro was the auctioneer for the live segment, which raised nearly $20,000. Riverwalk Wine and Spirits sponsored the event, and Beverly DeMoss was happy to pour many specialty wines available from their store.

The event is a way for grownups to enjoy some time together and raise funds for schools before the main event, which is to be held at 4-Eagle Ranch in Wolcott.
