Wild whitewater begins soon at Keystone
Keystone’s your headquarters for some of the country’s best whitewater adventures – from leisurely family float trips to heart-thumping class-5 action on the river.
According to Duke Bradford, owner of Arkansas Valley Adventures, this spring rafting and kayaking season is shaping up to be one of the best whitewater years in the past decade due to record snowfall this winter in and around Keystone, Colo.
Keystone teamed up with Bradford’s company, AVA, once again to offer some of the most exhilarating rafting trips this summer.
The best water happens early in the season (May and June). Check out the river flows/levels at coloradorafting.net (there are also releases of water into the rivers later in the season offering great water and rafting in the fall in Gore Canyon.
