EAGLE COUNTY, Colorado – Artist J.B. Sullivan’s encounters with the wild come to life through his powerful storytelling and drawings.

“Art and Soul,” an art and storytelling event, will be presented by Sullivan on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Eagle Public Library. Educational, entertaining and inspirational, Sullivan’s presentation resonates with personal stories from nature. This is a special presentation for all ages, from children to grandparents. Refreshments will be provided.

“Wilderness Drawings,” a solo exhibition of Sullivan’s drawings of creatures and critters, is on display at the Eagle Public Library throughout the month of January.

Sullivan’s specialty is graphite with an occasional touch of color. Hundreds of pencil strokes go into each piece, resulting in a realistic, representational style of immense depth. His work has been accepted into the prestigious “Top 100 Paint the Parks” national competition. This program is free and open to the public. Call the Eagle Public Library at 970-328-8800 for more information.
