William Jeffrey Boss, born March 31, 1953, died Sept. 19, 2008.

Most knew this towering red-headed guy as Jeff Boss or Bossman. He recently lost his battle with pancreatic cancer at his home with his beloved wife Deby by his side.

Jeff loved life in Colorado and enjoyed skiing, shooting guns, boating and hiking.

Known as the tall guy who enjoyed his favorite pipe filled with an aromatic tobacco and sipping Canadian Mist whiskey, Jeff will be remembered as “everyone’s favorite.” He was never one to mince words or hold back his opinions.

Jeff was employed as a purchasing agent for Harbert Lumber in Edwards, but many knew him as a manager of the Bag and Pack Shop in Vail for 20 years and could be seen as manager on duty at Blu’s in Vail.

Jeff is survived by his wife Deby, their eight beloved pets and many wonderful friends. He also is survived by his sister Debbie Laliberte in Orlando, Fla., three nieces, one nephew and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Lois boss of Florida and his sister Jenny Albe, also of Florida.

A memorial to celebrate Jeff’s life will beheld at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4 at the Brush Creek Pavilion in Eagle.

In lieu of flowers, the famly requests any donation be made to the Shaw Cancer Center.
