AVON Vin48, an Avon restaurant and wine bar, is hosting Master Sommelier Richard Betts, of Betts & Scholl, for their $25 wine tasting series. The event will take place today from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the wine bars balcony. Betts & Scholl is a partnership between Master Sommelier Richard Betts and contemporary art collector Dennis Scholl. Together, they have forged relationships with star growers and winemakers in Australias Barossa and Eden Valley, Frances Northern Rhone and Californias Napa Valley.
