Winter hasn’t hit Vail yet, but it’s coming

Jason PetersVail, CO, Colorado

The snow this past week has certainly caused most in the area to think winter had come, but it’s still going to be a while before the snowmaking kicks in and the lifts open. Meanwhile, the Vail Chamber & Business Association is holding its membership drive for the upcoming winter season. As the leading business advocacy group in Vail, there are many reasons that the Vail Chamber can help you. Vail is fortunate enough to not only have some great local businesses, but also serve as a melting pot for some the top business minds in the world. A great way to take advantage of networking with other businesses in the area is by joining the Vail Chamber. Along with networking at the community meetings we host, the Vail Chamber & Business Association offers a wide variety of benefits that could help you grow your business. As a member of the Vail Chamber, you have access to our database, which has hundreds of other members. The ability to communicate with other businesses in the area to announce special offers, new products and services, is an excellent way to complement the goods and services of another business. Being able to work together with other businesses is a benefit to all involved. Along with access to our database, the Vail Chamber offers all members media benefits. We have special arrangements with the local newspapers, radio and PlumTV, which allow free and discounted advertisements with these groups. Taking advantage of our media benefits alone will cover the cost of your membership. The Vail Guide is a great tool to promote your business. Distributed at Denver International Airport, the Colorado Welcome centers at several sites near the state borders, as well as all over the country, the Vail Guide is used by many visitors who are planning their vacations to Vail. Every member of the Vail Chamber & Business Association gets a free listing in the back of the Vail Guide. The deadline for getting your business listed in the 2009/2010 Winter Edition of the Vail Guide is in the first week of October. Get your membership applications in before then to insure your business is listed.
