Re: Seniors, here’s your competition

In 2005 the national average for passing AP exams with a 3 or above was 63.5 percent. Out of curiousity I checked the Advanced Placement exam results for Cherry Creek High School (which is found in the Denver Area). Cherry Creek had 3,669 students in 2005 and administered 1,887 AP exams in 26 different areas. And 92.4 percent of their students scored a 3 or better. Cherry Creek also has all testing data posted on their Web site as well as all data broken out into demographics. Now, why can’t the Eagle County School District be as transparent as this and why aren’t our students performing at a higher level?

Re: Stone Creek: Private stash goes public

Sick drops, wicked terrain, gnarly chutes, ABOUT TIME! Now law-abiding, non-rope-ducking, hucksters can enjoy what scofflaws have enjoyed for years without fear of a fine and criminal record. Thanks Beaver Creek Ski Patrol!
