Re: Parents want more time with teachers

How about having one of the 35 master teachers cover a class, so teachers can be freed up for conferences. If each master did this twice per month a lot of time would be freed up for conferences.

The masters are already being paid and therefore this plan would not require extra cash. Plus, the masters could see first hand how a particular classrooms function. Just a thought.

Re: Housing costs force some to the streets

According to the article there are 56 homeless people in Eagle County, therefore Dawn makes up 2 percent of the homeless population. One back up on her feet, 55 more to go.

Participate in The Longevity Project

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.

Re: Woman finds roof, job interview

Karma has a funny way of evening things out. The “perfect” people who threatened this poor woman will one day need some help. Karma will make sure they suffer a little.

Re: Obsessed with Leo DiCaprio

Maybe we should form a support group. I have an obsession with (Leo DiCaprio) also. I google him almost every day to find the latest news on him and visit sites which I previously looked down on like PerezHilton and Just Jared hoping to see the latest paparazzi photos of him. catwalker2

Re: Nothing’s cheap in Vail

The same people who are crying over the demise of low-cost rentals in Vail are the ones who constantly defend Vail Resorts as the largest provider of jobs in the valley. Give me a break. VR is the engine that drives the gentrification of Vail.

Re: Shedding light on TAP

Seems like the TAP program is a jack of all trades, master of none. Let’s keep the collaboration but junk the rest and investigate other performance pay options. TAP isn’t the only game in town and continuing to tinker with it is like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

Re: Cheap hotel rooms disappearing in Vail

If you want a $100 hotel room go to Keystone. Why are you getting priced out of Vail? Look in the mirror to answer that one.

Re: Spring back ” again

Original beauty? How about recycled smut?

I don’t think finding a way to see girls almost naked with booze involved is creative, unless you consider “Girls Gone Wild” the original beauty. I can’t wait to miss that event.

Re: Spring back ” again

I don’t know what your definition of smut is, and Happy Easter, by the way. However, the girls are being painted in a very artistic, creative way, and you should know better than to judge something you actually seem to know nothing about.

Streetwater is always original beauty, and appreciates your opinion. dkd
